Hello

A Bit About Me

Hi, I’m Neel Gaddipati — a Data Analyst/Engineer and Music Composer with a unique blend of technical precision and creative depth.

I graduated in 2023 with a B.S. in Computer Science and a Minor in Psychology, while working at multiple labs at Arizona State University in Research & Development and Behavioral Data Analysis roles. Since then, I’ve built experience across software development, full-stack engineering, data analytics, and business operations — working in both technical and cross-functional roles.

I spent my first year in industry as a Fullstack Developer & Scrum Master (Shoptaki, NY (remote)) and Software Developer (Ronan Systems Engineering, CA), collaborating with product and engineering teams to build structured, data-driven systems. I later worked as a Data Analyst and Engineer for small businesses and early-stage teams, designing reporting workflows, analytics pipelines, and professional-grade dashboards that translated complex data into clear insights.

Today, I work as a Business Operations Assistant (Smile Design (4 Locations), CA), where I combine technical problem-solving with communication and coordination across multiple stakeholders. I enjoy building organized systems that reduce friction, improve visibility, and create meaningful operational impact. Across my previous and current roles, I’ve consistently gravitated toward collaborative, people-oriented environments where clear thinking and reliable execution matter. I’m currently open to remote or onsite opportunities where I can contribute value through a mix of technical fluency, structured organization, and strong cross-functional communication.

Learning Never Stops...

After working as a developer, I shifted my focus to data — building professional-grade dashboards, exploring data pipelines, completing data courses, and applying software engineering principles to analytics as a freelance developer. My work includes: a detailed NBA data analytics project in Python and Pandas. where the objective of exploring potential correlation lead to the creation of a new metric through which we can view basketball players, and a comprehensive HR analytics dashboard in Tableau that leverages over 15 interactive visualizations, advanced tooltips, and user-focused summaries - both projects have extensive, detailed reporting. Please feel free to read the reports on, test, and explore this and other data projects in the Projects section!

Outside of tech, I’ve been playing guitar for most of my life and now compose original music for short films and media. I’ve scored multiple festival- and award-nominated projects as both a composer and sound engineer — a creative discipline that parallels my approach to data: thoughtful structure, balance, and communication.
